I’ve been married for 11 years and one of my most cherished possession’s is my wedding photos & video! So, I personally know the value of what I get to do.

Believe me when I say your wedding day will go by in a flash, and when all the dust settles, the only thing you have left of the day is your photos and video that will grow in sentimental value with each passing year.

I film in a very documentary, a "fly-on-the-wall" style where I try to let the couple enjoy their day by not posing them too much or taking too much of their time but I try to edit in a cinematic way where it looks like shots were carefully thought out and constructed to tell the full story of the wedding day.

When I was a kid I loved surfing and underwater photography, I combined those passions and started filming surfing with my underwater camera. One day, one of the surfers asked me to film his wedding so I thought I would give it a try. I loved it.

Filming my first wedding was such a fulfilling experience, it was a beautiful challenge to try and capture all the emotions of someone’s most important day. I took on that project shortly after getting married myself. At the time, we didn’t hire a professional videographer; it just wasn’t something we thought much about. Looking back, I really treasure the few clips our friends and family captured on their phones, but I do sometimes wish we had a full video to relive those moments, especially now, as some of the people who were there are no longer with us. That feeling is part of what drives me to create wedding films that couples can cherish for a lifetime.

As I dove deeper into wedding videography I saw the real art form it had become, wedding videographers were starting to tell interesting stories in an artistic way and it captivated me and I wanted to challenge myself to make beautiful wedding films like the ones I was seeing.

I’m very calm and easygoing and I’ve been doing weddings for over a decade. I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, so I’ve seen almost every situation imaginable and I feel I’ve become good at thinking on my feet, quick problem solving, and adapting to any situation. I feel that I never get worked up and always try to keep the couple calm and having fun.

I like to get to know the couple and joke around to keep things lighthearted and fun so they aren’t nervous and I can get the best out of them to reflect their real personalities in the video.
